This privacy policy regulates the use and protection by MMG Building Services and Developments Limited (“MMG”, “we”, “our” or “us”) of “Personal Data” you provide to MMG either when using this website or otherwise in relation to any processing by MMG of Personal Data you provide to MMG for the purposes set out below, unless an alternative separate privacy notice applies to such processing. Personal Data is information which identifies (or which could, with other information that we hold or are likely to hold, identify) an individual. We are committed to protecting and maintaining the rights and privacy of individuals, including our employees, clients, subcontractors and any other data subjects, as applicable.

This privacy policy also tells you how you can exercise your rights (including the right to object to some of the data handling we carry out). 2. Data Controller

MMG Building Services and Developments Limited is the data controller under the Data Protection Act 2018 and processes Personal Data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) (“Data Protection Laws”). This means that we determine the purposes of and means of the processing of your Personal Data, i.e. why and how we process your data.

Personal Data is information which can directly or indirectly (i.e. together with other data) be related to a living person. Even if the data cannot identify you as an individual, the data may still constitute Personal Data if it, together with other data, can be related to you. We will not collect any Personal Data about your or individuals accessing this website or otherwise communicating or interaction with MMG, except where: it is specifically and knowingly provided, where it is necessary for MMG to process or hold for the purposes of the goods or services it provides, and where there is a valid legal basis for doing so or an alternative separate privacy notice applies to such processing. Examples of Personal Data that you may provide to us when accessing this website or when interacting with MMG are:

  • personal details such as your name, address, email address, telephone number and occupation;
  • employment details such as: specific employment information held such as length of service or employment history/curriculum vitae where provided by you in relation to any application for a role made by you;
  • employee referrer name and email address details and name and email address contact details of prospective referral applicants for job applicant referrals where individuals being referred have provided explicit consent via a separate consent for referencing this privacy policy;
  • details in relation to you or personel of MMG, its clients, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, business partners or joint venture partners or members of the public in respect of whistleblowing reports;
  • where controlled by MMG, CCTV footage or records containing personal images of you when attending our sites or offices unless covered by a separate privacy policy;
  • details in relation to you or third parties in connection with insurance claims being pursued by MMG or its insurers or being brought against MMG by third party claimants including: name, home address, banding/payment details, claim and/or insurance details, vehicle registration details etc.

MMG will also collect information about your computer, including where available and subject to your chosen cookie and privacy settings as made available on the website: your IP address, operating system and browser type, and we may share non-personal aggregated statistics about our website visitors' traffic patterns with authorised partners with a need to know. However, we will not collect, sell or share any information about individual users.

4. How we Use your Personal Data

We use Personal Data for the following purposes:

We process your Personal Data on legitimate grounds and/or with your consent in order to identify and interact with you, and to fulfil an obligation under contract.   • to collect information such as, subject to your chosen cookie and privacy settings as made available on the website, your IP address, operating system and browser type for the purposes of website analytics and sharing of non-personal aggregated statistics about our website visitors' traffic patterns with authorised partners with a need to know;
  • complying with our legal obligations, any relevant industry or professional rules and regulations or any applicable voluntary codes;
  • complying with demands or requests made by any relevant regulators, government departments and law enforcements authorities or in connections with any disputes or litigation;
  • manage, respond to and/or process insurance claims being pursued by MMG or its insurers or being brought against MMG by third party claimants;

Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will not use any of your Personal Data for automated decision making or profiling.

5. How we Store and Secure your Personal Data

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We employ safe protocols for website browsing, encrypted communication and transfer of Personal Data (such as HTTPS and SSL/TLS). In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. When you contact us, your Personal Data and message content is collected and stored in an encrypted format directly on a secure server for approximately one year. All routes and devices used to access such data are password protected. Despite our best efforts we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of our systems, our server or our online 3rd Party accounts & databases. We do however promise to notify yourself as the Data Subject and the necessary authorities of any data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.

Where required by law or regulatory requirement, or where necessary to fulfil our contract with you, we may also share your information with:

  • other companies who provide goods/services to us;
  • our professional advisors and auditors;

The transmission of information via email or the internet is not completely secure, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site, and any transmission is at your own risk.
